As a large consumer of energy, becoming low-carbon has always been one of the core issues for China’s energy industry. Jin Hong, leader of the Project Management Office (PMO) at the National Institute of Clean and Low-carbon Energy, is responsible for the application of energy technology to improve the environment and meet the energy crisis faced by China and the world.
In 2015, with the support of the Low-carbon Institute, Jin Hong co-established and led PMO. By means of innovative management based on corporate strategies, PMO was able to refocus project portfolios.
Jin Hong always believed in “doing the right thing, doing things rightly." She is well aware that only by establishing and refining its own strategies and research areas, can the Low-carbon Institute efficiently bring more and more techniques and products into the market to further produce more economic and social benefits.
By now the PMO, in charge of coordinating external and internal projects for the Low-carbon Institute, has become a powerful driver for advanced scientific management systems and also an intersection for all kinds of original ideas. Jin Hong takes her joining the Low-carbon Insitute’s PMO as the turning point for her life.
China is accelerating the transition to a clean energy economy and the enthusiasm for market expansion has come to a high point. In the future, Jin Hong will continue to help the Low-carbon Institute to implement original innovation in clean energy and establish massive commercialization.
