"According to figures from the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 5% of the global population suffers from disabling hearing loss. Ezequiel is the creator of uSound, a program that enables the adjustment of each and every one of the functions of a mobile device to the hearing level of the user, thereby simulating a hearing aid.

Through the dynamic adjustment of frequencies, the user can enjoy the mobile device adapted to their hearing ability without any limitations. To configure it, the user adds the data from the audiometer provided by the specialist, or even conducts a test integrated within this innovative application.

It is free to download and the user can enjoy a free 30-day trial period. Afterwards, the price is about 2 euros. This young Argentinean and Electrical Engineering student has been able to cut costs by up to 95% by offering an alternative to the current hearing aids which cost around 400 euros. Ezequiel has been able to adapt the technology to the needs of millions of people with the aim of enhancing their quality of life."
