"As electronics have evolved from brittle materials to flexible materials in order to advance next generation wearable technologies, skin-like sensors that can possess the amazing capabilities of human skin become increasingly important. Such sensors can empower future robotic interfaces for telemedicine, remote health monitoring, prosthetics and smart surfaces. Benjamin will present his work on flexible and stretchable electronic skin-like sensors that captures some of the high mechanical sensitivity and self-healing capability of human skin. He will also share his thoughts on where such technologies can play a role in the coming decades."
